why do I love so damn hard?

I sit here at this very moment listening to Brandi Carlisle after making the same foolish mistake I have made time and time again. I opened my heart to a stranger, so desperate to find that special someone. I had waited so long to even allow a man in my life. I am aware of all my foolish attempts to trust someone, only to be burned time and time again. I've gotten counseling, trauma therapy to be exact for 3 years now! Still I ignore red lights and settle, knowing damn well I deserve so much more. I disappoint myself, I truly do. I do fine without a man, more than fine. And here I am learning the same lesson once again. You'll be okay Denise. Thank God for Brandi Carlisle.

Looking to review skincare products for the rugged woman

I am a rugged woman and proud of it. I work hard and pride myself on keeping up with the men when I do my job. Daddy didn't raise a whimp, that's for sure. Still, I like my feminine side. I still like to keep my skin soft and dehydrated. Working in a warehouse during Wisconsin winters can take a toll if you're not careful to moisturize and use the right products. 
That's why I'm on a mission. I would like to test out different skincare products to give my skin what it needs to keep it from chappimg and getting dry skin. I'm 46 years old and after a long day at work my skin seems to get a wind-burned appearance. Not becoming at all. 
So if you're a rugged woman as well, I sure could use some advice on what keeps your skin soft and glowing. If there are any products you recommend, please, do tell. I will try them out and review them on my blog. 
Also tell me what you do for an occupation. I am excited to talk to other rugged woman working in  non-traditional roles.Til next time,
